CLINICAL PLACEMENT AVAILABLE

Placement is structured to provide real industry practice under the guidance of experienced industry professionals

• 76 hours (spread over a 10-day prac) at an approved cosmetic clinic.

Enrolment Fee

All students will be required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable enrolment fee upon enrolment.

AACDS offer the following payment options.

Fee for Service

Fee For Service fees apply when a student is not eligible for subsidies, government loans or where no subsidies are available.

• Upfront Payment

Students can choose to pay a) the full tuition fee for their course, OR b)their student contribution (if they are eligible for a subsidy or concession) amount upfront at enrolment.

• Payment Plan

Students may be eligible to enter into a payment plan arrangement to pay off their tuition fees in smaller amounts over a period of time.

Payment plans require an initial upfront payment towards their student contribution fees to set up the plan, and then each payment period a recurring payment amount is direct debited from the student’s nominated account.

VET Student Loan

The VET Student Loans (VSL) program is an Australian Government loan program that assists eligible students enrolled in approved courses to pay their tuition fees. If eligible, the department may approve a VET Student Loan for an approved course. The department will pay the loan cap amount directly to your approved course provider. The student will be responsible for any gap amount in the tuition fees, which are not covered by the loan.

The 52919WA Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables is approved for VET Student Loan.

These learning outcomes equip graduates to work in diverse settings, such as clinics, salons or medical offices and offer advanced cosmetic procedures with a strong foundation in science and professionalism.

1. Dermal Therapist:

Specialising in non-invasive cosmetic treatments such as laser therapy, skin needling, chemical peels and other skin rejuvenation techniques.

2. Skin Care Specialist

Providing treatments for skin conditions, such as acne, pigmentation and ageing concerns, often in clinics or spas.

3. Beauty Therapist (with a focus on advanced treatments)

Offering services that require advanced training, including microdermabrasion, laser hair removal and IPL treatments.

4. Clinic Manager

Managing cosmetic dermatology clinics, overseeing treatments, customer service and staff coordination.

5. Product Consultant/Specialist

Working with cosmetic dermatology products, either in a retail or clinical setting, providing expert advice on treatments and skin care products.

6. Trainer/Instructor

Teaching courses related to cosmetic dermal science in educational institutions or training clinics.
